The advisory will remain in place until levels return to a safe threshold.<\/p>\n<p>The DOH say the bacteria, Enterococci, is found in the intestinal track in animals and people. When this bacteria is found in water it can be from potential fecal contamination.<\/p>\n<p>The DOH says the contamination can happen through water run off, pets and wildlife, and from sewage.<\/p>\n<p>Beachgoers should avoid swimming or playing in the water.
