They came in a little more than a second ahead of LSU\u2019s 1:41.11. The LSU women have been 1:35.06 this season while Florida has been 1:35.93<\/p>\n<p>Backstroker Choate went on to win both the 100 and 200 backstroke events, swimming 52.76 in the 100 and 1:54.52 in the 200, missing her season best times of 51.53 and 1:51.52.<\/p>\n<p>Bottazzo, who swam the breaststroke leg, won the 100 breast in 59.35, coming in more than two seconds ahead of teammate <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Molly Mayne\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/molly-mayne\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Molly Mayne<\/a>, who finished 2nd overall. Bottazzo currently leads the nation in the 100 breast with her 56.87 from Florida\u2019s meet with Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>Mayne went on to win the 200 breaststroke in 2:14.21, which was a little more than five seconds off her season best of 2:08.65.<\/p>\n<p>Reese won the 200 butterfly in 1:59.75, coming in almost two seconds ahead of teammate <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Lainy Kruger\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/lainy-kruger\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lainy Kruger<\/a>\u2018s 2:01.72. Both have been faster this season with Reese\u2019s season best coming in at 1:56.28 and Kruger sitting at 1:55.71.<\/p>\n<p>Florida also had a few two event winners that were not on the 200 medley relay. Sophomore <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Julie Brousseau\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/julie-brousseau\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Julie Brousseau<\/a> won both distance freestyle events, swimming 9:47.47 in the 1000 and 4:49.42 in the 500 to pick up 18 points for the Gators.<\/p>\n<p>Junior <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Lainy Kruger\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/lainy-kruger\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Lainy Kruger<\/a> won the 200 free and 100 fly for Florida. In the 200 free, she swam 1:48.60 to come in almost exactly a second ahead of <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Megan Barnes\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/megan-barnes\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Megan Barnes<\/a> from LSU, who swam 1:49.59 for 2nd. In the 100 fly, she swam 54.71 to outtouch Bezerra\u2019s 54.76 for 2nd place.<\/p>\n<p>The final event winner for the Gators was freshman <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Grace Rabb\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/grace-rabb\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Grace Rabb<\/a>, who swam 2:01.99 to take the top spot in the 200 IM ahead of Brousseau\u2019s 2:02.44. This was Brousseau\u2019s 1st time swimming the event this season, while Rabb was off her season best of 1:55.29.<\/p>\n<p>LSU won three events over the course of the meet with senior sprinter <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Michaela De Villiers\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/michaela-de-villiers\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Michaela De Villiers<\/a> being partially or fully responsible for all three.<\/p>\n<p>De Villiers started with the top time in the 50 freestyle of 22.84, coming in six tenths ahead of Bezerra\u2019s 23.44 for Florida in 2nd.<\/p>\n<p>She went on to win the 100 free in 50.50, a little more than half-a-second ahead of Florida\u2019s Reese, who finished 2nd in 51.16.<\/p>\n<p>LSU also won the final event of the meet, the women\u2019s 200 freestyle relay. Florida\u2019s <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Ahmed Jaouadi\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/ahmed-jaouadi\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Ahmed Jaouadi<\/a> was disqualified after swimming 9:03.72.<\/p>\n<p>Linscheer also won the 500 freestyle, swimming 4:24.76 to just outtouch teammate <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Eric Brown\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/eric-brown\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Eric Brown<\/a> who came back hard to swim 4:24.97 after outsplitting Linscheer 24.87 to 25.37 on the final 50.<\/p>\n<p>Brown won two events during the meet as well, taking the top spot in the 200 free with his 1:38.10 beating teammate <a class=\"auto-link-tag\" title=\"View more articles about Paul Dardis\" href=\"https:\/\/swimswam.com\/tag\/paul-dardis\/\" data-wpel-link=\"internal\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Paul Dardis<\/a>\u2018 1:38.68 by almost seven tenths.
