(WCTV) &#8211; A man was arrested for crimes in Tallahassee and across Florida that include human trafficking, profiting from prostitution and other charges, according to court documents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Kevin Tilcock, 40, was charged with human trafficking for commercial activity, deriving support from the proceeds of Prostitution and unlawful use of a phone to facilitate a felony. The trafficking spanned from Tallahassee, Pensacola, Panama City, Gainesville, Orlando and Biloxi, Mississippi, per records. <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"figure-img img-fluid mx-auto d-block\" alt=\"A man was arrested for crimes in Tallahassee and across Florida that include human...\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/01\/RLHXHEHRL5ABHBZTFKPU763TIE.png\" width=\"980\" height=\"551\" \/>A man was arrested for crimes in Tallahassee and across Florida that include human trafficking, profiting from prostitution and other charges, according to court documents.(Must credit CJIS)<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Tilcock was initially arrested in August 2024 on prostitution-related charges in Bay County, Florida, per court records. Following the arrest, a six-month investigation by the Office of Statewide Prosecution and the Leon County Sheriff\u2019s Office revealed Tilcock\u2019s human trafficking scheme, according to a press release from Attorney General James Uthmeier. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">He was then arrested in Virginia on Dec. 22, 2025 on human trafficking charges and arrived in Tallahassee on Thursday, per records.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | text-center article-text\">More on crime in our area:<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A statement from the sex worker within court records reveals that Tilcock reconnected with her in 2024 after knowing each other for 6 years. Court records show that the sex worker left a different Tallahassee sex trafficker to work with Tilcock because he \u201cpromised to save her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to court documents, the sex worker labored for Tilcock 7 days a week from July 2024 to August 2024 and was required to give Tilcock the proceeds. The sex worker said that if she refused payment, Tilcock would threaten to leave her, withhold drugs from her or threaten not to take her to see her son. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Tilcock used electronic ads to promote her and they went across Florida for meetings with \u201cJohns,\u201d per the probable cause affidavit.
