Lee County is gearing up for a fun-filled weekend with the “Touch-a-Truck” event hosted by Lee County Parks and Recreation.<\/p>\n
The event is happening at Mike Greenwell Regional Park, formerly known as the Lee County Civic Center Complex. This family-friendly event offers activities for everyone.<\/p>\n

“If you hear honks and see flashing lights behind me, that’s because this place is turning into a kid’s dream come true,” said Dolan.<\/p>\n
The event gives families a chance to get hands-on with fire trucks, big rigs, and heavy equipment not typically seen up close.<\/p>\n
“Today’s Touch-a-Truck event is all about hands-on fun,” said Dolan. “Letting families get up close with fire trucks, big rigs, and heavy equipment you don’t see every day.”<\/p>\n
The event begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 1 p.m. Kids can climb into the vehicles, ask questions, and meet the operators.<\/p>\n
