The plan to rebuild that roster is coming via the transfer portal. Ahead of the weekend, it was announced the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/ncaaf\/teams\/michigan-state-spartans\/3436\/\" data-autotag=\"0b5a0d03-0e6c-48e5-9370-fba324e7e32d\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Spartans<\/a> would be hosting a power conference defensive line transfer.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\"><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/sportsdata.usatoday.com\/football\/ncaaf\/teams\/florida-state-seminoles\/3409\/\" data-autotag=\"06ee9050-e06d-4638-a179-a4d7f17000df\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\" data-t-l=\":b|e|k|\u2691u\" class=\"gnt_ar_b_a\">Florida State<\/a> edge transfer Jaden Jones will be in East Lansing for a visit this weekend. This comes after visits to Missouri and NC State.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">A 6-foot-5, 260 pound defensive end, Jones has been in Tallahassee since 2023. A native of Montgomery, Ala., he started his career at Hutchinson Community College. At FSU, he played in 17 games, securing nine tackles and a tackle for loss.<\/p>\n<p class=\"gnt_ar_b_p\">This season, PFF has graded him as a 65.6 overall defender, while being a 72.3 run defender.
