There’s no place like home for Southridge<\/a>, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They strolled past the Hialeah Gardens Gladiators<\/a> with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 59-40. That looming 59-40 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Spartans yet this season.<\/p>\n Hialeah Gardens lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Ethan Roberts<\/a>, who posted 15 points in addition to eight boards and four blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Eduardo Hernandez<\/a>, who almost dropped a double-double with ten points and nine rebounds.<\/p>\n Southridge pushed their record up to 5-6 with the win, which was their third straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Hialeah Gardens, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-6.<\/p>\n Looking ahead, Southridge will head out on the road to face off against Norland at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings have been getting the ball to fall more lately as they’ve increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Hialeah Gardens, they will host Reagan at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Gladiators will be up against the Bison’s rather soft defense (which has allowed 69 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.<\/p>\n
