Glenmede<\/a>, a\u00a0wealth
\n manager with $49.3 billion of assets as of September 30 last
\n year, has appointed Joe Coconate (main picture) as managing
\n director and regional head of Florida.
\n<\/p>\n
\n Coconate, who is based in the firm\u2019s Palm Beach office,\u00a0will
\n report to Adam Douberly, director of regional markets. Coconate
\n has taken on the post formerly held for four years by Mark
\n Parthemer, who is now concentrating\u00a0on an\u00a0expanded role
\n as chief wealth strategist, the firm said in a statement late
\n last week.
\n<\/p>\n
\n Coconate will be mainly responsible for elevating Glenmede\u2019s
\n profile in Florida, attracting talent, and developing
\n relationships with families of significant wealth, family
\n offices, and professional advisors. He will lead a team of
\n planning, fiduciary, and investment professionals.
\n<\/p>\n
\n With almost two decades\u2019 industry experience, Coconate most
\n recently served as director, senior banker, at Citi Private Bank.
\n He has also served in\u00a0leadership roles at Northern Trust,
\n Bank Leumi USA, and Credit Suisse.
\n<\/p>\n
\n \u201cGlenmede has seen both a significant rise in the migration of
\n our existing clients and an increase in interest from prospective
\n clients in the region. Joe brings the experience and leadership
\n needed to support our thoughtful and disciplined growth,\u201d
\n Douberly said.

\n The firm opened its West Palm Beach office in November 2018.
