Most Lee County administrative operations will be closed on Jan. 19 in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.<\/p>\n
The county\u2019s holiday schedule adjustments are as follows:<\/p>\n
\u2013 COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT<\/p>\n
Community Development lobbies and phones will be closed on Jan. 19. They will reopen for regular hours on Jan. 20. The electronic permitting portal will remain open at www.leegov.com\/dcd<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u2013 DOMESTIC ANIMAL SERVICES<\/p>\n Animal Services, at 5600 Banner Drive, Fort Myers, will be closed on Jan. 19. It will resume regular hours on Jan. 20.<\/p>\n \u2013 LEETRAN<\/p>\n There will be no change to LeeTran\u2019s bus, trolley, tram, paratransit or ULTRA on-demand services on Jan. 19. Route schedules and maps are available at www.rideleetran.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n \u2013 PARKS & RECREATION<\/p>\n Parks & Recreation swimming pools, recreation centers and administrative offices will be closed on Jan. 19. They will reopen on Jan. 20.<\/p>\n Beaches, parks, preserves and boat ramps will be open on Jan. 19.<\/p>\n \u2013 SOLID WASTE<\/p>\n There will be no change to collection schedules on Jan. 19.<\/p>\n Solid Waste offices and the Household Chemical Waste Collection Facility, at 6441 Topaz Court, Fort Myers, will be closed on Jan. 19.<\/p>\n The Resource Recovery Facility on Buckingham Road, Lee-Hendry Landfill, LaBelle Transfer Station and Clewiston Transfer Station will be open on Jan. 19.<\/p>\n
