Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Miami<\/a>). They blew past the Westland Hialeah Wildcats<\/a>, posting a 101-71 victory. The win continues a trend for the Pioneers in their matchups with the Wildcats: they’ve now won four in a row.<\/p>\n North Miami had a senior duo take command as Calando Joseph<\/a> shot 58% from beyond the arc en route to 29 points and seven boards and Julius Ochoa<\/a> went 9-for-14 on his way to 20 points and five assists. The game was Joseph’s fourth in a row with at least 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Messy Beilzaire<\/a>, who posted 12 points and five rebounds.<\/p>\n North Miami was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. That’s the most assists they’ve posted since back in January of 2025.<\/p>\n North Miami’s victory bumped their record up to 6-12. As for Westland Hialeah, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-15.<\/p>\n Looking ahead, North Miami will square off against Hialeah at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Pioneers’ first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Westland Hialeah, they will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They’ll take on Forges Academy at 7:30 p.m. on the 21st.<\/p>\n
