The School District of Lee County celebrated a historic milestone with the Class of 2025 achieving the highest graduation rates in district history.<\/p>\n
The district’s overall graduation rate reached 89.8%, marking a 4% increase from the previous year and nearly doubling the state’s 2.5% rise. The 15 traditional high schools and Lee Virtual School achieved an impressive 95.3% graduation rate.<\/p>\n

“This is a historic moment for Lee County Schools, and I couldn’t be prouder of our students, teachers, and school teams,” said Superintendent Dr. Denise Carlin.<\/p>\n
Fort Myers High School and North Fort Myers High School led the way, with 99% graduation rates.<\/p>\n
Dr. Carlin emphasized the significance of these achievements.<\/p>\n
“A 89.8% graduation rate, the highest we’ve ever achieved with our traditional high school above 90%, shows that our investments in quality teachers and student support are paying off,” she said.<\/p>\n
Lehigh Senior High School and Dunbar High School showed remarkable improvements, increasing their graduation rates significantly.<\/p>\n
The district also recorded its lowest dropout rate ever at 1.5%, showcasing success in keeping students engaged.<\/p>\n
“Our goal is to become Florida’s top-performing school district, and this achievement shows we’re moving in the right direction,” said Carlin.<\/p>\n
