TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – With the Night to Shine prom just weeks away, organizers say buddies are their greatest need and are urging community members to sign up now. <\/p>\n
They are also accepting donations of prom attire<\/a> ahead of the event\u2019s prom boutique on January 31.<\/p>\n Night to Shine is a free prom experience for people with special needs, allowing guests to dress up, enjoy music and dancing, and be celebrated in an inclusive setting. Each guest is paired with a volunteer buddy who provides one-on-one support throughout the evening.<\/p>\n As prom night approaches, organizers say more buddies are still needed to ensure every guest can participate fully.
