She was a founding member of the Laconia Educational Endowment Foundation, raising funds for learning opportunities for students and teachers. Since retiring to the island, Mowry has been a trustee at the Bailey-Matthews National Shell Museum &amp; Aquarium and volunteer in its store and a volunteer for other nonprofits and community events.<\/p>\n<p>Rosen and her husband fell in love with Captiva during a visit 13 years ago and they made it their permanent home in 2022. She is an active member of the community, serving as a board member and president of the Captiva Civic Association and member of the 100+ Women Who Care Sanibel-Captiva, under the Charitable Foundation of the Islands.
