PETERSBURG, Fla. \u2014 Residents hoping to roll out their bins on Monday will need to wait a day, as the City of St. Petersburg pauses operations to honor Martin Luther King Jr. Day.<\/p>\n<p>City officials confirmed that most administrative facilities and services will be shuttered on Monday, January 19, 2026, necessitating a temporary slide in the sanitation schedule.<\/p>\n<p>What to Know About Trash &amp; Recycling: If your collection usually happens on Monday, hold off until Tuesday.
