MOST CITRUS TREES CANNOT TOLERATE TEMPERATURES BELOW 30 AND THEY NEED PROTECTION BELOW 36 DEGREES. WESH TWO JUSTIN SCHECKER IS LIVE IN CLERMONT TONIGHT. JUSTIN, HOW ARE FARMERS THERE PREPARING? HEY, LINDSAY. GOOD EVENING. YEAH, WE\u2019RE HERE AT THE SHOWCASE OF CITRUS. THEY\u2019RE ALSO TAKING PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT THEIR EXOTIC ANIMALS THAT CAN\u2019T HANDLE THE COLD. THEY\u2019RE NOT PLANNING TO USE THE IRRIGATION SYSTEM TO PROTECT THE ORANGE GROVES. THEY\u2019RE HOLDING THEIR BREATH THAT IT DOESN\u2019T GET BELOW THE FREEZING MARK TONIGHT. FINGERS CROSSED.
