These two thieves, they have him on the floor,&#8221; she said. &#8220;There&#8217;s two thieves inside of the jewelry store and they have him.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>She provided a detailed description to the operator, hoping it would lead to help for her husband.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They are covering their heads with scarves,&#8221; she said, referring to the suspects.<\/p>\n<p>During the call, she was unaware that <a href=\"https:\/\/www.winknews.com\/news\/lee\/hialeah-man-arrested-in-cape-coral-jewelry-store-robbery\/article_bc3c0df2-8bed-4a6f-91dd-36943d194704.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">a third person was waiting in a getaway car behind the store<\/a>. As of Thursday, Cape Coral police have apprehended the driver, 52-year-old Ivel Sanchez Rivera.<\/p>\n<p>The 911 operator reassured the woman, saying, &#8220;It&#8217;s okay. We have help on the way just stay on the line with me.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The robbers opened safes, took jewelry from display cases, and tied the husband at his wrists.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;He has his hands tied. He&#8217;s trying to call the police we have a panic button,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Officers arrived six minutes into the call, but the suspects had already fled.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They are leaving, they are leaving by the back of the building,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>Jewelry, money, and a gun were taken during the robbery on that Tuesday.
