TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WCTV) – Iranian students rallied at Florida State University on Friday for their countrymen and women enduring deadly protests back home in Iran. <\/p>\n
The grad students held signs to make their voices heard and shared concerns about the protests and Iran\u2019s regime. They also answered questions from fellow students, saying they want everyone to know what\u2019s going on.<\/p>\n
FSU graduate student Sonny Heydari said their Iranian peers are fighting for their basic rights. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe are standing here to speak on behalf of our people, on behalf of our families, friends, who are protesting in the street, who are called to fight in the street for their freedom, for their basic rights.\u201d <\/p>\n
The group said they plan to hold more rallies in the future. <\/p>\n
