{"id":123148,"date":"2026-01-18T21:26:16","date_gmt":"2026-01-18T21:26:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/123148\/"},"modified":"2026-01-18T21:26:16","modified_gmt":"2026-01-18T21:26:16","slug":"homebuilders-open-the-doors-to-award-winning-residences-sanibel-captiva","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/123148\/","title":{"rendered":"Homebuilders open the doors to award-winning residences &#8211; SANIBEL-CAPTIVA"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Future and current Southwest Florida homeowners can get an up-close-and-personal look at some of the region\u2019s residential builders, as the Cape Coral Construction Industry Association\u2019s annual Showcase of Homes kicks off Friday.<\/p>\n<p>CCCIA\u2019s 2026 Builders\u2019 Showcase of Homes begins today, as 22 of the Cape\u2019s best creators and designers display 32 different models for prospective buyers, or just anyone, to tour over three weekends.<\/p>\n<p>Model homes will be open to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday, as well as the weekends of Jan. 23 and Jan. 30.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe CCCIA looks forward to showing the entire Southwest Florida public what our builders have been up to since last year,\u201d said CCCIA Executive Director Wade Kundinger.\u00a0\u201cMost of these homes will be ready just prior to the start of the Showcase of Homes, so it will be a \u2018first look\u2019 for most of the homes on the tour which is very exciting. Since we have so many homes in the tour this year the foot traffic will be great.\u00a0Please be patient when entering the homes, it could get crowded at times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Touring hours for the 30th annual showcase, presented this year by IncredibleBank, are noon to 5 p.m. all three days. All of the home models are in Cape Coral, varying in location from northwest to southeast and in-between.<\/p>\n<p>This showcase is more than a home tour \u2014 it\u2019s an opportunity to witness the pinnacle of design and innovation in modern living. Visitors can explore properties ranging from elegant custom builds to cutting-edge smart homes, each reflecting the latest trends in architecture, sustainable materials and advanced home technology. Whether you\u2019re a first-time buyer, upgrading your lifestyle or envisioning a serene waterfront retirement estate, the event caters to every aspiration and budget.<\/p>\n<p>With prices ranging from under $300,000 to $10 million, the homes offer something for every taste, from cozy retreats to expansive estates. Buyers also have the unique opportunity to collaborate with CCCIA builders who can tailor designs to suit individual needs and preferences.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn some of the models the builders will be around to chat with you and talk about their vision and what is \u2018behind the walls\u2019 that prospective buyers want to know,\u201d Kundinger said.\u00a0\u201cNot to mention, the latest color schemes, fixture styles, appliance updates, hurricane protection and much more for prospective buyers to consider.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Whether you\u2019re looking for your forever home, just wanting to see what\u2019s out there, or wondering what\u2019s being offered, the Showcase of Homes is a great weekend out for any who has the chance to experience it.<\/p>\n<p>It\u2019s also a great opportunity for builders to show off their skills.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am biased, but our builders in the Cape are the best at what they do,\u201d Kundinger said.\u00a0\u201cTheir skillset, imagination, innovation is second to none.\u00a0I urge the public to get out early and visit as many as you can.\u00a0The problem most people will have is leaving one home to see another \u2014 it will be tough to leave.\u00a0But then they see the next one, and the euphoria starts to build again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The CCCIA\u2019s Builders\u2019 Showcase of Homes awards presentation took place Thursday at La Venezia Ballroom to recognize those who stood out among the best.<\/p>\n<p>Awards in 13 categories (differentiated by price range) were given for best exterior design, best landscape, best outdoor living, best kitchen, best pool, best bath, best interior design, best livability and best overall in that price range.<\/p>\n<p>There were also top overall awards for best overall interior design, best overall landscape design, best overall pool design, best overall home technology and best overall home, all regardless of price.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s award winners were:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Best overall pool design went to Windward Construction for \u201cArtisan Pool.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Best overall interior design went to Windward Construction for \u201cThe Mahana.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Best overall landscape design went to Windward Construction for \u201cThe Mahana.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Best curb appeal went to Sinclair Custom Homes for \u201cCypress,\u201d and Gulf-shore Development for \u201cThe Amalfi.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Best hidden features went to Bahnam Builders for \u201cThe Crawford,\u201d and Coastal Craft for \u201cThe\u00a0 Driftwood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Best overall home went to Windward Construction for \u201cThe Mahana\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  The Builder \u201cRight Hand\u201d award went to Jason Pawloski of Sinclair Custom Homes.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Category 1 saw Christopher Alan Homes sweep with \u201cSt. Augustine Model\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  In Category 2, Sunlife Homes took home best overall, best pool, best outdoor living, best kitchen, best interior design, and best livability with \u201cThe Coral Haven,\u201d while Holiday Builders won for best exterior, landscape, and bath with \u201cThe Charlotte.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Category 3 saw Toto Custom Homes sweep with \u201cNapoli.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  In Category 4, Poseidon Homes won best overall, best interior design, and best livability with \u201cTriton.\u201d Coastal Craft Homes won best exterior design, best pool, best outdoor living, and best kitchen. Toto Custom Homes won best landscape design with \u201cSanibel Breeze,\u201d whose Arnold Roberts won best bath with \u201cSavannah IV.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  In Category 5, it was Tudor Villas Corp winning best overall, best exterior design, best landscape, best pool, best outdoor living, and best bath with \u201cHavan Luxus III.\u201d Sposen Signature Homes won best kitchen, livability, and interior design for \u201cSpica.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  In Category 6, Arnold Roberts won best overall, best kitchen, best bath, best interior design and best livability with \u201cSavannah Grand,\u201d while Tracey Homes, Inc. took home best exterior design, best landscape, best pool, and best outdoor living with \u201cChannel III.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Category 7 saw Ramos Builders win every category other than best landscape, including best overall, with \u201cThe Highland.\u201d Majkowski Construction took home best landscape design with \u201cThe Grand Cayman I.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Category 8 featured Poseidon Homes taking home best overall, best exterior design, best landscape design, best kitchen, best bath, best interior design and best liability with \u201cPegasus Series.\u201d Bahnam Builders won best pool design with \u201cThe Crawford,\u201d and Tracey Quality Building, Inc. won best outdoor living with \u201cThe Hammerhead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Category 9 saw Gulfshore Development win best overall, best exterior design, best landscape, best bath, best interior design, and best livability (tie) with \u201cThe Amalfi.\u201d Coastal Craft Homes won for best pool, best outdoor living, best kitchen, and best livability with \u201cThe Driftwood.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Category 10 saw Tundra Homes take home best overall, best exterior design, best landscape, best kitchen, best bath, and best livability with \u201cLaPalma Estate Model.\u201d Aubuchon homes won for best pool design, best outdoor living, and best interior design for \u201cAzure.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Category 11 saw Koogler Homes win best overall, best exterior design, best outdoor living, best kitchen, and best livability for \u201cJoseph Cove.\u201d Aubuchon Homes won best landscape design for \u201cVilla Solara,\u201d while Poseidon Homes won best pool design, best bath, and best interior design for \u201cAtlantis Series.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  In Category 12, Premiere Cape Construction swept with \u201cIsland Estate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u2022  Category 13 saw Windward Construction sweep nearly every category, but with two different models. Best overall, best landscape design, best pool design (tie), best outdoor living, best interior design and best livability (tie) was given to \u201cMahana.\u201d \u201cThe Kai Malie\u201d was bestowed best exterior design, best pool design, best kitchen, best bath, and best livability.
