St. Petersburg, FL \u2014 Candidates for the Gulfport City Council Ward I and Ward III will appear at a Candidate Forum on Thursday, January 29, 2026 at 6:00 p.m. The forum, hosted by the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area, will take place at the Catherine A. Hickman Theater, located at 5501 27th Avenue South, Gulfport, FL 33707.<\/p>\n
The Candidate Forum will provide voters with an opportunity to hear directly from candidates about the issues that matter most to the Gulfport community ahead of the upcoming election, which is scheduled for March 10, 2026. Voters will be invited to submit questions both in advance of the forum and during the event. Submit questions ahead of time here.<\/p>\n
A moderator from the League of Women Voters of the St. Petersburg Area will introduce the candidates and guide the discussion.<\/p>\n
All Candidate Forums sponsored by the League of Women Voters follow a nonpartisan, unbiased, and impartial format, in keeping with League principles.<\/p>\n
The forum is free and open to the public. The Ward I forum is from 6 pm \u2013 7 pm, followed by Ward III forum from 7 pm \u2013 8 pm. <\/p>\n
