A St. Augustine native, who played high school ball at Bartram Trail, Padron spent the past two seasons with the Aggies. He saw limited playing time over his freshman and sophomore years, appearing in just three games with zero attempted field goals. Padron has six kickoffs to his name, averaging 59.7 yards with one touchback. Pro Football Focus gave him a 59.8 kickoff grade in 2024 and a 59.5 in 2025.<\/p>\n
He is eligible for a redshirt since he stayed under the four-game threshold in each of his two seasons with Texas A&M. However, Padron did not exercise that option as a freshman.<\/p>\n
Florida now has two kickers on its roster, following the departures of Trey Smack (graduation) and Evan Noel (transfer portal). The Gators also added Tulane kicker Patrick Durkin this offseason.<\/p>\n
