{"id":125101,"date":"2026-01-20T17:16:21","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T17:16:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/125101\/"},"modified":"2026-01-20T17:16:21","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T17:16:21","slug":"2025-jaguars-awards-vote-on-jacksonvilles-most-valuable-player","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/125101\/","title":{"rendered":"2025 Jaguars Awards: Vote on Jacksonville\u2019s Most Valuable Player"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">To put a bow on the 2025-26 NFL season, we\u2019re asking Jacksonville Jaguars fans for their picks on typical season-long awards \u2014 MVP, Defensive Rookie of the Year, Coach of the Year, etc.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">The league\u2019s official awards will be announced at the 15th annual NFL Honors event on Feb. 5.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">First up: Jaguars 2025 Most Valuable Player.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">Devin Lloyd has a strong case; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/substack.com\/home\/post\/p-183623832\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">904 Analytics<\/a>, he led all NFL players in Total EPA and Win Probability Added on interceptions this season. Lloyd\u2019s 99-yard pick-six against Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs on Monday Night Football may be the Jaguars\u2019 top highlight of the season. The former first-round draft pick earned second-team All-Pro recognition as he blossomed from a stout run defender to a do-it-all backer. Not that PFF grades are everything, but Lloyd\u2019s 88.4 mark ranked first on the team and fourth among all NFL linebackers.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">With all that being said, I voted for Trevor Lawrence. He was kinda being carried by the Jaguars\u2019 running game and defense in the first half of the season, but once Liam Coen told him to \u201ccut it loose and let it rip\u201d after Jacksonville\u2019s Week 10 collapse in Houston, Lawrence arguably played like the most valuable player in the sport for the remainder of the regular season. From Weeks 11-18, he led all NFL quarterbacks in total touchdowns (24), total first downs (121), and PFF grade (91.7), and ranked top-three in just about any other metric out there. He was clearly the driving force behind Jacksonville\u2019s eight-game winning streak entering the postseason.<\/p>\n<p class=\"duet--article--dangerously-set-cms-markup duet--article--standard-paragraph _1nfb3k4i _16w9vov1 _16w9vov0 ls9zuh1\">What are your thoughts, Jaguars fans?
