{"id":125118,"date":"2026-01-20T17:33:31","date_gmt":"2026-01-20T17:33:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/125118\/"},"modified":"2026-01-20T17:33:31","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T17:33:31","slug":"miami-dade-sees-sales-growth-across-housing-types","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/125118\/","title":{"rendered":"Miami-Dade sees sales growth across housing types"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sales for Miami-Dade single-family homes and condos grew in December, according to the latest data from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.miamirealtors.com\/2026\/01\/16\/south-florida-real-estate-posts-second-most-10m-up-home-sales-in-history\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">MIAMI Association of REALTORS\u00ae<\/a> and the MIAMI Southeast Florida Multiple Listing Service.<\/p>\n<p>Total home sales in Miami-Dade County grew 5.9% year-over-year in December from 1,764 to 1,869.<\/p>\n<p>The single-family market experienced upward trajectory for the fourth consecutive month with 3.74% year-over-year growth from 829 to 860.<\/p>\n<p>When broken down by price point, <a href=\"https:\/\/southfloridaagentmagazine.com\/2025\/12\/19\/luxury-home-price-growth-west-palm-beach\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">luxury homes<\/a> saw the greatest sales growth. Sales for homes priced starting at $1 million climbed 12% compared to the same month last year.<\/p>\n<p>Existing condo sales grew 7.91% year-over-year in December from 935 to 1,009. The market has seen growth in three out of the last four months.<\/p>\n<p>Condos priced starting at $1 million ticked up 2.45% year-over-year. Meanwhile, the affordable condo market, defined as condos priced between $400,000 to $600,000, saw sales growth of 2.97%.<\/p>\n<p>Inventory remained low, especially when compared to pre-pandemic levels.
