A town hall organized by a city civic watchdog group is set for next week.<\/p>\n
Organized by the Take Out the Trash Committee of Cape Coral, the People\u2019s Town Hall to bring \u201cthe community together to demand accountability, transparency & integrity from our local government,\u201d is set for 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, at Lake Kennedy Senior Center. <\/p>\n
\u201cWe wanted the citizens to be able to meet the people behind Take Out The Trash,\u201d said Kyle L\u2019Hommedieu, the committee\u2019s chair. \u201cWe look forward to meeting the citizens.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
The goal of the meeting is to have a Meet and Greet while hearing from residents concerning city-related issues<\/p>\n
The format of the Town Hall, which is still being fined tuned, will include an introduction from each board member and questions from the community.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe most likely will be speaking of the Yacht Club project and probably the Old Golf Course,\u201d L\u2019Hommedieu said.<\/p>\n
Refreshments will be provided.<\/p>\n
The committed formed in April 2025.<\/p>\n
Its members frequently speak during Public Input at Cape Coral City Council Meetings.<\/p>\n
Lake Kennedy Senior Center is at 400 Santa Barbara Blvd.<\/p>\n
