This means the state\u2019s net population has jumped yet again, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clickorlando.com\/news\/florida\/2024\/10\/18\/nearly-1-million-more-people-flocked-to-florida-heres-where-they-came-from\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.clickorlando.com\/news\/florida\/2024\/10\/18\/nearly-1-million-more-people-flocked-to-florida-heres-where-they-came-from\/\">though by a slimmer margin than last year<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">However, that figure falls far short of 2022, when well <a href=\"https:\/\/www.clickorlando.com\/news\/local\/2023\/12\/04\/even-more-people-moved-to-florida-last-year-heres-where-they-came-from\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\">over 1 million people moved to the Sunshine State<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">The majority of new residents domestically came from New York, with over 50,000 New Yorkers coming to the Sunshine State. <\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">[BELOW: Report finds fewer people moving to Florida in 2024, except to Ocala]<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">But the bulk of newcomers came from foreign countries \u2014 288,048 people, to be exact.<\/p>\n<p class=\"dist__Box-sc-1fnzlkn-0 dist__TextBase-sc-1fnzlkn-3 bYFsJw cuqaEv article-text\">However, it\u2019s not clear what countries these international migrants stem from.
