Osceola<\/a> hasn’t had much luck against St. Petersburg<\/a> recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Having just played yesterday, the Warriors will get right back to it and host the Green Devils at 7:45 p.m. One thing working in Osceola’s favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight matchups.<\/p>\n

Osceola lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Shorecrest Prep, but it’s fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday’s contest. The Warriors really took it to the Chargers for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-25 win. With the Warriors ahead 38-13 at the half, the game was all but over already.<\/p>\n

Brolin Roth<\/a> and Aiden Dyals<\/a> were among the main playmakers for Osceola as the former shot 77% from the field to rack up 22 points and six boards and the latter dropped a double-double with 11 points and 22 rebounds. Dyals is crushing it when it comes to boards: he’s pulled down at least eight every time he’s taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyson Jenezon<\/a>, who posted 11 points in addition to eight rebounds and four steals.<\/p>\n

Osceola smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 23 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they’ve now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in seven consecutive matchups.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, St. Petersburg entered their tilt with Barron Collier on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they’ll enter their next game with five. They were the clear victors by an 82-56 margin over the Cougars. The Green Devils have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 20 points or more this season.<\/p>\n

Osceola better focus on containing Nijaun Harris<\/a> and Emir Gainer<\/a> as the pair were huge in St. Petersburg’s win. Harris scored 26 points, while Gainer earned 21 points. Kayden Calhoun<\/a> was another key player, putting up 11 points.<\/p>\n

Osceola’s victory bumped their record up to 12-9. As for St. Petersburg, their win bumped their record up to 12-8.<\/p>\n

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest-scoring teams around. Osceola hasn’t had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 63.6 points per game. However, it’s not like St. Petersburg struggles in that department as they’ve been averaging 66.8 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can put up more.<\/p>\n

Osceola took a serious blow against St. Petersburg when the teams last played back in January of 2025, falling 71-41. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Harris, who dropped a double-double with 29 points and 12 boards. Now that the Warriors know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time?
