{"id":127845,"date":"2026-01-22T14:17:13","date_gmt":"2026-01-22T14:17:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/127845\/"},"modified":"2026-01-22T14:17:13","modified_gmt":"2026-01-22T14:17:13","slug":"man-arrested-in-dania-beach-attack-that-left-mother-8-year-old-girl-wounded","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/127845\/","title":{"rendered":"Man arrested in Dania Beach attack that left mother, 8-year-old girl wounded"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text text--small text--normal text--primary\">Published:\u00a0January 16, 2026 at 10:06 AM<\/p>\n<p>Man arrested following attack that left mother, girl, 8, hurt in Dania Beach  <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">DANIA BEACH, Fla.  \u2014 A 31-year-old man was arrested Thursday after deputies said he allegedly attacked a woman during a domestic dispute in Dania Beach, an incident in which an 8-year-old girl was also wounded. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2026\/01\/16\/bso-arrestan-a-hombre-por-ataque-en-dania-beach-que-dejo-heridas-a-madre-y-a-hija-de-8-anos\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer nofollow noopener\" title=\"https:\/\/www.local10.com\/espanol\/2026\/01\/16\/bso-arrestan-a-hombre-por-ataque-en-dania-beach-que-dejo-heridas-a-madre-y-a-hija-de-8-anos\/\">Leer en espa\u00f1ol<\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">According to the Broward Sheriff\u2019s Office, deputies responded around 2:45 p.m. Wednesday to a report of a stabbing at a home in the 4500 block of Southwest 23rd Terrace. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Investigators later learned that the individuals involved had gone to Memorial Regional Hospital in Hollywood, where deputies took a man, Daquan Delancy, into custody.<\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">They said that Delancy and a woman were involved in an argument at the home, during which Delancy assaulted the woman and threatened to stab her. <\/p>\n<p class=\"c-paragraph\">Authorities said an 8-year-old girl suffered a significant cut to her hand during the incident.
