The grant assists in funding construction of a 3.2-mile, 36-inch pipeline on U.S. 41 and a new pump station to draw water from the city\u2019s NE Reservoir in Charlotte County. The water travels to Gator Slough in Lee County where it can enter the city\u2019s canal system. This latest award brings FDEP\u2019s total in grant funding for the NE Reservoir Project to $12 million.
