Jensen Beach<\/a> was the 63-60 winner over Port St. Lucie<\/a> when they last played one another back in December of 2025, but their luck changed this time around. The Falcons were just a bucket shy of victory on Tuesday and fell 59-58 to the Jaguars. The Falcons’ defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.<\/p>\n Despite the loss, Jensen Beach had strong showings from Tavareon Newson<\/a>, who shot 42% from the field on his way to 14 points in addition to eight boards and six assists, and Dre Lott<\/a>, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Charles Alexander<\/a>, who went 5-for-11 en route to 13 points and six rebounds.<\/p>\n Port St. Lucie’s success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Bryan Desgrottes<\/a> led the charge by dropping a double-double with 19 points and ten boards. Thanks to that strong game, Desgrottes now owns an excellent 45% shooting accuracy. Isaac Sylvain<\/a> was another key player, almost dropping a double-double with 18 points and nine rebounds.<\/p>\n Jensen Beach’s defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 5-1 and their overall record down to 13-7. As for Port St. Lucie, the victory snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 9-11 record.<\/p>\n Coming up, Jensen Beach will take on South Fork at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port St. Lucie, they have already played their next game, a 78-62 win against Legacy on the 21st.<\/p>\n
