{"id":129397,"date":"2026-01-23T17:42:11","date_gmt":"2026-01-23T17:42:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/129397\/"},"modified":"2026-01-23T17:42:11","modified_gmt":"2026-01-23T17:42:11","slug":"cape-coral-narcotics-investigation-nets-three-arrests-a-variety-of-illicit-drugs-seized","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/129397\/","title":{"rendered":"Cape Coral Narcotics Investigation Nets Three Arrests, a\u00a0Variety of\u00a0Illicit\u00a0Drugs\u00a0Seized"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\"  src=\"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/12\/1764950231_728_News-Release-Header-NEW-2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"1640\" height=\"450\" title=\"\" role=\"img\"\/><\/p>\n<p>(January 23, 2026)\u00a0CAPE CORAL, Fla. \u2013The Cape Coral Police Department\u2019s Narcotics Unit initiated an investigation after receiving information\u00a0regarding street-level drug transactions taking place within the City of Cape Coral.<\/p>\n<p>On January 22, 2026, at approximately 11:50 a.m., the Cape Coral Police Department\u2019s SWAT Team executed a search\u00a0warrant\u00a0at 1508 SW 28th Terrace, Cape Coral, Florida\u00a0based on the investigation.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Upon arrival, SWAT officers announced their presence\u00a0at the\u00a0residence, which was occupied by Michael Patrick Hennessey (DOB 07\/03\/1994) and Heather Marie Hennessey (DOB 11\/23\/1992). Michael Hennessey, who had outstanding narcotics-related charges, was taken into custody without incident.<\/p>\n<p>Once the scene was secured, detectives conducted a detailed search of the residence. Detectives located and seized multiple controlled substances and evidence related to drug distribution, including:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Marijuana<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Methamphetamine<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0THC wax<\/p>\n<p>\u2022Crack\u00a0cocaine<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Fentanyl<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Various prescription pills<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Various items of drug paraphernalia and U.S. currency<\/p>\n<p>Detectives determined\u00a0Hennessey\u00a0was\u00a0selling marijuana, fentanyl, pills, methamphetamine, and crack cocaine.\u00a0Detectives also confirmed\u00a0Hennessey\u00a0had\u00a0ownership of the narcotics\u00a0prior to SWAT entering the residence, he attempted\u00a0to destroy evidence and was prevented from doing so.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the investigation, Michael Patrick Hennessey was arrested and charged with:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Trafficking in Methamphetamine (1st Degree Felony)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell \u2013 Marijuana (3rd Degree Felony)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell \u2013 THC Wax (3rd Degree Felony)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Possession of a Controlled Substance Without a Prescription with Intent to Sell \u2013 Buprenorphine (2 counts, 2nd Degree Felony)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell \u2013 Crack Cocaine (2nd Degree Felony)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Sell \u2013 Fentanyl (2nd Degree Felony)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (1st Degree Misdemeanor)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Tampering with Physical Evidence (3rd Degree Felony)<\/p>\n<p>The investigation\u00a0also\u00a0revealed that Heather Hennessey was a confirmed fentanyl user and that 1.5 grams of fentanyl belonged to her. Heather Hennessey was placed under arrest and charged with:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\u00a0Possession of a Controlled Substance (Fentanyl), a 3rd Degree Felony<\/p>\n<p>Just prior to the execution of the search warrant, detectives monitoring the residence observed a male leaving the residence, later identified as Kristian Araujo Ferreira Da Silva (DOB 01\/03\/1984). Da Silva entered a black Nissan Rogue and drove to a nearby 7-Eleven located at 3129 Chiquita Boulevard South.<\/p>\n<p>Officers attempted a lawful vehicle stop in the gas station parking lot. As officers converged and activated emergency lights, the driver accelerated in reverse, narrowly avoiding contact with a CCPD K-9 vehicle and nearly striking an uninvolved citizen pumping gas. Witnesses at the scene confirmed the vehicle\u2019s reckless actions and the danger posed to nearby bystanders.<\/p>\n<p>The Nissan fled the area at a high rate of speed, driving northbound in the southbound lanes and running a red light at Chiquita Boulevard South and Veterans Memorial Parkway. Multiple 911 calls reported the vehicle\u2019s erratic driving. Minutes later, the Nissan Rogue was found abandoned and damaged near SW 4th Street and Chiquita Boulevard South.
