We hear the longtime friends were seen \u201claughing, catching up and joking about the good times\u201d while hanging backstage ahead of the rapper\u2019s performance.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt felt less like a padel tournament kickoff and more like Madison Square Garden energy, just without the cold,\u201d the source recalls. <\/p>\n
Fiddy, 50, notably hails from Queens, while Jeter, 51, played for the New York Yankees for the entirety of his 20-year MLB career. <\/p>\n
Jeter and NBA All-Star Jimmy Butler, who are team captains for the competition, saw their matches postponed for the evening after it started raining in the typically sunny coastal-Floridian city. <\/p>\n

Despite the bad weather, the \u201cP.I.M.P.\u201d artist decided to go ahead with his performance for the Opening Night Post-Match Party, presented by Hard Rock Bet. <\/p>\n
\u201c50\u00a0grabbed the mic and made it clear there was \u2018no need to worry,’\u201d the source says, adding that he rapped several hits including \u201cIn Da Club,\u201d \u201cCandy Shop,\u201d \u201cBig Rich Town\u201d\u00a0and\u00a0\u201cJust a Lil Bit.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n
He also gave a shout-out to Mark Wahlberg, who was in attendance and spotted hanging with the retired Yankee. <\/p>\n

\u201cThis year\u2019s Reserve Cup represents a meaningful step forward,\u201d Boich said in a statement obtained by Page Six. \u201cFrom the level of competition on court to how fans experience the weekend, every element has been elevated \u2014 including an expanded and refined Reserve Fan Village that builds on last year\u2019s success.\u201d <\/p>\n
This year\u2019s edition \u2014 which takes place from Jan. 22 to Jan. 24 \u2014 will showcase the world\u2019s top-ranked padel players, including Arturo Coello, Agust\u00edn Tapia, Alejandro Gal\u00e1n, Federico Chingotto, Miguel Yanguas, Javier Garrido, and Javier Leal.<\/p>\n
