\n\tThere are strict rules when it comes to building a house in Florida<\/a>\u2018s Alys Beach<\/a> community. Masonry construction is required. Every house must be entirely white. Designs are vetted and preapproved long before any ground has been broken. The result is a tightly controlled coastal enclave along Florida\u2019s Scenic Highway 30A, about 125 miles west of Tallahassee. Its pristine, whitewashed aesthetic often evokes the charm of the Greek Islands.<\/p>\n

\n\tWithin the Panhandle enclave, a home known as One More Day and designed by the local firm\u00a0Khoury Vogt Architects<\/a>\u00a0doesn\u2019t try to aggressively stand out from its uniform surroundings. Instead, it creatively works within the stringent guidelines to show just\u00a0how much range still exists inside the boundaries.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe 3,700-square-foot, four-story home is located about a block and a half from the Gulf, with sightlines preserved to the water. Arrival begins in a limestone courtyard with integrated water features, anchored by a negative-edge pool. A narrow walkway leads across the water to a suspended pavilion before entering the home.<\/p>\n

\n\tOn the main level, the kitchen, dining, and living spaces open fully to the courtyard through a large sliding door system, allowing the interior to expand outward. The ceiling is coffered, with curved wood inlays that conceal lighting, sound, and ventilation. Limestone is used throughout for consistency and durability, while custom banquette seating and restrained decorative details keep the spaces comfortable without feeling overworked.<\/p>\n

\n\tSeveral architectural elements are intentionally concealed. A mirror on the main floor doubles as a powder room door, opening into a shell-lined jewelbox complete with a water feature. Storage is integrated into the millwork, and an upstairs bathroom is tucked out of view unless you know where to look. In all, there are four bedrooms and six bathrooms.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe upper floors are also oriented toward outdoor living. A third-floor loggia overlooks the street below with filtered views toward the Gulf. Above that, a fourth-floor sky terrace hovers over the town, with views across Alys Beach and the surrounding pine canopy. The sun-splashed perch includes a star-shaped fire pit and a summer kitchen. <\/p>\n

\n\tThe property is listed with Corbin Roush and Jonathan Spears of the Spears Group at Compass 30A.<\/p>\n

\n\tThe nearly $10 million asking price<\/a> reflects the growing popularity of master-planned communities and an expanding luxury market along Florida\u2019s Panhandle, where recent sales have reset expectations for the region. A vacant oceanfront parcel in Alys Beach sold last summer for $15 million, and in late 2025, a beachfront mansion nearby traded for\u00a0a record $41 million<\/a>, the highest price ever recorded in the Panhandle.\u00a0<\/p>\n
