ORLANDO, Fla. \u2013 On Friday, a judge threw out a lawsuit by former Orlando Commissioner Regina Hill, seeking to throw out last November\u2019s election results.<\/p>\n

Earlier this month, Hill filed the lawsuit<\/a>, claiming current commissioner Shan Rose was basically bribing voters with gift cards and health screenings.<\/p>\n

After a recent hearing in the case, Hill told News 6\u2019s Mike Valente that she was seeking free and fair elections, and accused Rose of ballot harvesting, which means collecting absentee ballots illegally.<\/p>\n

But in Friday\u2019s ruling, Chief Judge Lisa Munyon found no proof of wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThere is simply no factual basis to suggest illegal votes of any kind,\u201d Munyon wrote. \u201cIn fact, (Hill) fails to explain how, even if illegal ballot harvesting did occur, that these votes would be illegal.\u201d<\/p>\n

Rose won her first full term in November with a 52% majority. Hill was second with 33% of the vote.<\/p>\n
