Hundreds of festive philanthropical guests turned out to honor local community leaders during\u00a0Galleria Fort Lauderdale<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0inaugural\u00a0\u201cSpirit of Giving Night\u201d\u00a0at\u00a0Dillard\u2019s\u00a0on December 4. More than $18,000 was raised to support seven nonprofit organizations:\u00a0Children\u2019s Diagnostic and Treatment Center,\u00a0FLITE Center,\u00a0Florida Children\u2019s Theatre,\u00a0Handy,\u00a0Henderson Behavioral Health,\u00a0Leadership Broward Foundation, and\u00a0South Florida Symphony Orchestra.<\/p>\n

Guest host\u00a0Fay Albernas\u00a0of\u00a0The\u00a0FayWhat?! Show\u00a0was joined onstage by\u00a0Galleria Fort Lauderdale\u2019s Marketing Manager Melissa Milroy\u00a0to celebrate distinguished honorees and shining stars\u00a0Don D\u2019Arminio and Marc Martorana,\u00a0Carey Warburton,\u00a0Javier Iglesias\u00a0and Amanda Martin,\u00a0Eileen LaMarca,\u00a0Jamie Wasserman,\u00a0David and Doreen Vozzola, and\u00a0Jen Klaassens\u00a0for their dedication to giving back and for championing causes that strengthen the South Florida community. Each received an art glass award commemorating their achievements and dedication.<\/p>\n

All enjoyed a festive evening with culinary tastings, wine and spirits, live entertainment, shopping, and raffles. Attendees also were treated to a special Dillard\u2019s shopping pass for the evening and a weekend shopping pass for other Galleria Fort Lauderdale retailers, including an exclusive dining offer from The Capital Grille.<\/p>\n

Galleria Fort Lauderdale\u2019s \u201cSpirit of Giving Night\u201d was presented in collaboration with Dillard\u2019s, The Capital Grille, and BBX Capital. Food and beverages were provided by Aquaplex Fort Lauderdale, The Capital Grille, Epazote, Ethos Greek Bistro, and Gulf Stream Distillery.<\/p>\n
