South Fork<\/a> extended their winning streak to six on Tuesday, bumping them up to 14-4. They claimed a resounding 61-26 victory over the Port St. Lucie Jaguars<\/a>. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight contests by 21 points or more this season.<\/p>\n South Fork found their leader in freshman Khloe Rodgers<\/a>, who shot 56% from the field en route to 40 points and three steals. That makes it 17 consecutive games in which Rodgers has scored at least a third of the Bulldogs’ points. Vivianna Morales<\/a> was another key player, putting up four points in addition to 11 boards and four steals.<\/p>\n South Fork was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Port St. Lucie only racked up six.<\/p>\n As for Port St. Lucie, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 6-7. While losing is never fun, they can’t take it too hard given the team’s big disadvantage in MaxPreps’ Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 352nd, while South Fork is ranked 144th).<\/p>\n Despite the loss, Port St. Lucie still got an impressive performance from Kaysha Felix<\/a>, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 15 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Janiyah Nicolas<\/a>, who posted seven points and three steals.<\/p>\n South Fork wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 66-64 win against Palm Beach Central on the 15th. As for Port St. Lucie, they have also already played their next game, a 35-29 defeat against Legacy on the 15th.<\/p>\n
