This February, Lee County Domestic Animal Services invites the community to go for the gold in companionship with its Olympic-themed adoption promotion: \u201cAdopt a World-Class Snuggler!\u201d<\/p>\n
Throughout the month, adoption fees will be just $30 for cats, kittens and adult dogs, making it easier than ever to bring home a champion companion.<\/p>\n
\u201cFrom gold-medal cuddles to record-breaking tail wags, Animal Services shelter pets are training every day to compete in events like Freestyle Snuggling, Couch Lounging, and Competitive Biscuit-Making,\u201d county officials said in a release. \u201cThese four-legged athletes are ready to retire from the shelter and join a loving home where they can finally claim their victory podium.\u201d<\/p>\n
\u201cWhether you\u2019re looking for a calm couch companion or a high-energy teammate for daily walks, Animal Services has a roster full of winners. Residents are encouraged to visit the shelter during February, meet the adoptable pets, and take part in this limited-time adoption event. No qualifying heats required \u2212 just an open heart and a willingness to cheer on your new best friend.\u201d<\/p>\n
