For the Lightning, the Stadium Series will mark the second time they will appear in the particular event. Tampa faced off with the Nashville Predators at Nissan Stadium in the Music City in 2022, with the Bolts coming away with a 3-2 win. Both the Bruins and Rangers will tie the Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers for the second-most outdoor games in NHL history, as the Original Six franchises will each be playing in their sixth games without a roof over their heads.<\/p>\n

However, this will be the first time Boston will be playing in a Stadium Series contest. The Bruins have played in the 2010, 2016, 2019 and 2023 Winter Classics, along with one of the NHL\u2019s games in Lake Tahoe in 2021.
