This is the reason, I nominated her for the award.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>With over 14 years of experience as a special educator, Ms. DiCiccio is a true LifeChanger for students with intellectual disabilities. She listens deeply, observes thoughtfully, and acts with purpose. She sees each student as an individual\u2014recognizing their unique talents, gifts, and potential. Her expectations are high, and her connection with students is genuine, concrete, and spiritual.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>One powerful example of her impact is the way she welcomed a nonverbal student with significant behavioral challenges into her classroom. Through extraordinary patience, resilience, and compassion, Ms. DiCiccio transformed daily challenges into meaningful opportunities for growth.
