A longtime Ybor City taco spot just opened a second location in St. Pete\u2019s Grand Central District. <\/p>\n

Jimmy\u2019s Tacos opened last Tuesday at 2536 Central Ave., the former home of The Foundry vintage furniture store. The location has been anticipated since 2024<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In Ybor, the yellow walk-up window is known for its birria and shrimp tacos on handmade tortillas. The St. Pete shop shares the same menu. <\/p>\n

Jimmy Nunez opened the business in the late 80s with his parents in Los Angeles, before bringing it to Ybor City in 2019<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n

The shop won \u201cBest Guacamole\u201d and \u201cBest Ybor City Restaurant\u201d in Creative Loafing Tampa Bay\u2019s 2025 Best of the Bay awards<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Jimmy\u2019s Tacos St. Pete is open from 4 p.m.-10 p.m. Tuesday-Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday. Visit jimmystacosstp.com<\/a> for more info.<\/p>\n
