Capone\u2019s Dinner Show debuted in Kissimmee back in 1992. It\u2019s now reopening as Capone\u2019s Underground at Dezerland Park in Orlando. It has all of the vibes associated with the notorious American gangster, Al Capone.<\/p>\n<p>2. John Pyles has co-owned the production for decades. But he noticed a shift in Kissimmee traffic. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cA lot of the tourism kind of went from that little corridor &#8211; 535 and 192 &#8211; out toward Disney or up toward I-Drive,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>3. Showing us through the new space for Capone\u2019s Underground, he describes the show as a musical comedy with toe-tapping numbers and audience interaction. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Over the last 5 years in Orlando, [I\u2019ve seen that] everyone\u2019s getting into that speakeasy theme. But we\u2019re the original ones\u2026 We\u2019re constantly evolving,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>4. The pre-show is a gambler&#8217;s paradise, with craps, blackjack and other casino games available. (The winners get prizes instead of cold cash).<\/p>\n<p>5. Capone\u2019s Underground is open every day except for Mondays.
