Creative Loafing Tampa Bay<\/a> is inviting party-goers across the region to relive the glory days of early-2000s and 2010s nightlife when Club CL: A Dance Party takes over Coastal Creative in St. Petersburg\u2019s Grand Central District on Friday, February 27, from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.<\/p>\n

Part throwback celebration and part high-energy night out, Club CL is designed for anyone who fondly remembers low-rise jeans, glitter gloss, platform pumps, and a \u201cgoing-out top\u201d that somehow worked for every occasion. The night promises an unapologetic return to the soundtrack, fashion, and carefree chaos that once ruled dance floors and college bars alike.<\/p>\n

A Night Built on Nostalgia<\/p>\n

Guests can expect a packed dance floor fueled by a live DJ spinning the best pop, hip-hop, and dance hits from the 1990s through the 2010s\u2014the songs that defined nights out and still live rent-free in everyone\u2019s head. Coastal Creative\u2019s massive video wall will stream iconic music videos throughout the night, adding an immersive, club-style experience that keeps the energy high from start to finish.<\/p>\n

More Than a Dance Party<\/p>\n

\u201cClub CL is for everyone who misses the soundtrack, fashion, and wild energy of nightlife,\u201d said Leigh Wilson, Marketing & Event Director for Creative Loafing Tampa Bay. \u201cWe wanted to create a space where people can show up exactly as they would back in the day and dance like they never left the club scene.\u201d<\/p>\n

Beyond the dance floor, the event also supports a meaningful mission. A portion of proceeds from Club CL will benefit Current Initiatives of Tampa Bay, a local nonprofit dedicated to empowering communities through programs such as the Laundry Project, Hope for Homes, and Affordable Christmas initiatives.<\/p>\n
