HUNTSVILLE, Ala. \u2014 Breeze Airways will begin nonstop service between Huntsville International Airport and Fort Lauderdale, Florida, starting June 12, with flights scheduled on Mondays and Fridays. Fares for the new route will start at $39.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur Guests in Huntsville now have another great destination in Florida to visit, making it more convenient than ever to visit the Sunshine State,\u201d said David Neeleman, founder and CEO of Breeze Airways. \u201cThe greater Fort Lauderdale region has a lot to offer travelers, and we can\u2019t wait to launch this new destination in June.\u201d<\/p>\n
The new service gives North Alabama travelers another direct option to Florida, expanding the region\u2019s connectivity to the Sunshine State.\u00a0<\/p>\n
Huntsville International Airport officials said the addition of Fort Lauderdale demonstrates the growing demand in the Huntsville market. \u201cOur North Alabama travelers will enjoy greater connectivity and convenience to South Florida than ever before,\u201d said airport CEO Butch Roberts.<\/p>\n
