\n\t\t\t\t\t\tOfficers with the Cape Coral Police Department arrested a burglary suspect after a foot chase.According to a press release from the CCPD, officers responded to a reported burglary at a home located in the 2100 block of Cape Coral Parkway West on Wednesday. Unauthorized individuals were inside the home despite it being listed and not rented, according to the initial call.Officers say witnesses saw a man fitting the suspect’s description walking along eastbound Cape Coral Parkway. Officers located and detained Christopher Darrel Cole, 37, who tried to run away before being apprehended. CCPD says an investigation revealed that Cole unlawfully entered the home, where damage consistent with cigarette burns was found on several pieces of furniture. The total value of the damage was approximately $1,099.
