A multi-week event where current and prospective homebuyers can get at look at some of the region\u2019s top residential builders concludes this weekend.\u00a0<\/p>\n
The Cape Coral Construction Industry Association\u2019s 2026 Builders\u2019 Showcase of Homes sees its final weekend, as 22 of the Cape\u2019s best creators and designers display 32 different models for prospective buyers, or just anyone, to tour over what will be three weekends.<\/p>\n
Model homes will be open to the public Friday, Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n
\u201cThis is a rare opportunity, offered just three weekends a year, for prospective buyers to experience the Showcase of Homes firsthand,\u201d said CCCIA Executive Director Wade Kundinger of why people should attend the event\u2019s final weekend.\u00a0\u201cVisitors can speak directly with the builders and their support teams to learn what truly sets these homes apart from others in the Florida market. It\u2019s a chance to see the quality, craftsmanship, and attention to detail up close, and to understand why these builders are so highly regarded in their field.\u201d<\/p>\n
Touring hours for the 30th annual showcase, presented this year by IncredibleBank, are noon to 5 p.m. all three days. All of the home models are in Cape Coral, varying in location from northwest to southeast and in-between.<\/p>\n
Kundinger said this year\u2019s showcase has drawn large crowds each weekend thus far.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe turnout has been outstanding, with consistent traffic through all of the models,\u201d he said. \u201cAt one point, a builder in Northwest Cape Coral reported having approximately 70 visitors in a single home at the same time. Fortunately, it was one of our larger model entries. Overall, traffic has exceeded our expectations.\u201d<\/p>\n

The CCCIA\u2019s Builders\u2019 Showcase of Homes awards presentation took place Jan. 15 at La Venezia Ballroom to recognize those who stood out among the best.<\/p>\n
Awards in 13 categories (differentiated by price range) were given for best exterior design, best landscape, best outdoor living, best kitchen, best pool, best bath, best interior design, best livability and best overall in that price range.<\/p>\n
