Sha\u2019Carri Richardson was going too fast this time.<\/p>\n

Richardson, 25, was arrested in Florida on Thursday after allegedly driving over 100 mph, according to jail records.<\/p>\n

The 2024 Summer Olympics gold medalist was booked into Orange County Jail and was charged with dangerous excessive speeding at 100 mph or more.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the Orange County Sheriff\u2019s Office told TMZ<\/a> that Richardson was \u201cdangerously tailgating and traveling across lanes of travel to pass other motorists.\u201d<\/p>\n

Richardson\u2019s bond was set at $500, with the exact details and location of the incident remaining unclear.<\/p>\n

This is not the first time that Richardson has been in trouble with the law, with the sprinter getting arrested at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport<\/a> for an alleged domestic violence incident in July.<\/p>\n

Security footage showed Richardson shoving her boyfriend, fellow U.S. sprinter Christian Coleman, numerous times at the airport while he was trying to walk away.<\/p>\n

Richardson was hit with a fourth-degree domestic violence assault charge, but Coleman ultimately did not press charges and \u201cdeclined to be a victim,\u201d according to police records viewed by The Athletic<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following her arrest, Richardson posted a video to her Instagram story<\/a> showing her remorse for the alleged incident, saying she was seeking \u201ca certain level of help.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cMore than anything, definitely a lot of self reflection, a lot of understanding of not only putting myself in a compromising situation with somebody that I have a deep care and appreciation for as well, is something that \u2014 holding myself accountable,\u201d Richardson said in video posted in early August. \u201cI\u2019m taking this time to not only see myself but get myself a certain level of help that overall is going to reflect who I truly am in my heart and in my spirit and not allowing this moment, but accepting this moment to be more.<\/p>\n

\u201cSo my only thing is, I want to be more \u2014 not just only for myself, for my family, my fans. I overly appreciate y\u2019all supporting me and showing love and even holding me accountable to being my best self. So more than anything, I refused to run away \u2026 but face everything that comes to me head-on because everything on the other side is greater but you gotta go through in order to get there.\u201d<\/p>\n
