East Lake’s success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Andre Willis<\/a> led the charge by putting up 17 points in addition to eight assists and four steals. Those eight assists gave Willis a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jeremiah Cooper<\/a>, who shot 60% from beyond the arc en route to 18 points.<\/p>\n

They weren’t the only ones working in the assist department: East Lake was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fivay only racked up seven.<\/p>\n

Meanwhile, St. Petersburg’s game on Wednesday was all tied up 32-32 at the half, but luckily for them it didn’t stay that way. They came out on top against Riverview Sarasota by a score of 69-62.<\/p>\n

East Lake’s record is now 22-2. As for St. Petersburg, their record now sits at 16-8.<\/p>\n
