BAY LAKE, Fla. \u2013 A World War II hero got to celebrate a milestone birthday in true Disney style. <\/p>\n
Herb Maneloveg, 101, took part in a special flag retreat ceremony at Magic Kingdom.<\/p>\n
He served as a private in the U.S. Army\u2019s 106th Infantry Division during the Battle of the Bulge. He was later wounded and awarded the Purple Heart.<\/p>\n
His day included a trip down Main Street USA with family and front-row view of the Festival of Fantasy parade.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt\u2019s a wish that\u2019s better than any wish I\u2019ve ever had,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n
