The committee is part of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW), which started the thrift store over 60 years ago.

“Many don’t realize that proceeds from sales at Noah’s Ark Thrift Shop do not go towards St. Michael’s operations. It is given away to support the wider community through these annual grants,” the church shared. “The Grants Committee’s mission is to allocate Noah’s Ark proceeds to reflect God’s inclusive love for all people, with a particular focus on those who are hungry, unhoused and marginalized.”

The 2025 grant recipients are: Abuse Counseling and Treatment (ACT), All Souls Episcopal Church Outreach, Children’s Advocacy Center, Community Cooperative, ECHO, Gladiolus Food Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, Immokalee Fair Housing, Lee Interfaith for Empowerment (LIFE), Lighthouse of SWFL, Literacy Council, Misión Peniel, PACE Center for Girls, Partners for Breast Cancer, Pine Manor Improvement Association, and South Fort Myers Food Pantry.

The committee and thrift store thanked the customers, volunteers and donors who made this possible.

Over the past 60 years, more than $6 million has been granted to nonprofits from the proceeds.

   /News 1 / 6 SAINT MICHAEL AND ALL ANGELS…

[14
209,211,210
0":"post-138220","1":"post","2":"type-post","3":"status-publish","4":"format-standard","5":"has-post-thumbnail","7":"category-cape-coral","8":"tag-cape-coral","9":"tag-cape-coral-headlines","10":"tag-cape-coral-news
["GET
