(WCTV\/ Gray Florida Capital Bureau) &#8211; Florida moms are pushing for more vaccine freedoms. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Florida First Lady Casey DeSantis hosted a roundtable at the Governor\u2019s Mansion with mothers talking about the difficulties they\u2019ve had navigating pediatric care.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">The women say they opted out of vaccines for their children and now can\u2019t find a pediatrician. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Last year the Department of Health got rid of some vaccine requirements for students in public schools.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">DeSantis echoed the parents\u2019 frustration. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cNo parent should lose their pediatrician. No family should ever be dropped from care. No parent should be judged or excluded because of their vaccine choices. Unfortunately that is what we are seeing across the State of Florida,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">There is a bill in the Florida Senate that would inform parents of certain information about vaccines for minors.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">Copyright 2026 WCTV.
