Florida State University students can further their future and expand their career connections through the Seminole Futures Recruitment Series<\/a> Tuesday,\u00a0Feb. 3\u00a0through\u00a0Friday, Feb.\u00a013\u00a0at various campus locations.\u00a0The recruitment series is open to all majors and class levels.<\/p>\n Led by\u00a0FSU\u2019s Career Center<\/a>\u00a0within the\u00a0Division of Student Affairs<\/a>,\u00a0Seminole Futures\u00a0offers\u00a0seven days\u00a0of guided\u00a0career exploration\u00a0to help support students at every stage of their professional journey while preparing them for future careers.\u00a0Whether they\u2019re seeking an internship or a full-time position after graduation, students\u00a0can\u00a0connect with\u00a0a range of\u00a0employers\u00a0to\u00a0increase their professional network and discover career paths.<\/p>\n This emphasis on career readiness secured FSU the No.\u202f13 spot on\u202fThe Princeton Review\u2019s<\/a>\u202f2025 list of the Top 20 Best Schools for Internships among public schools across the U.S.<\/p>\n \u201cOur primary objective\u00a0is to\u00a0ensure our students are equipped, empowered and employed,\u201d said Rob Liddell, assistant vice president for Career Services. \u201cThe\u00a0Seminole Futures series\u00a0provides\u00a0interactive, experience-driven engagement\u00a0that supports\u00a0student success and\u00a0assists\u00a0our\u00a0employer partners with the next generation of professional workers.\u201d<\/p>\n Throughout the week, students can take part in\u00a0several\u00a0career-focused activities,\u00a0such as\u00a0taking a professional headshot, having their\u00a0resume reviewed and meeting with Career Center team members for\u00a0interview and presentation\u00a0tips\u00a0in\u00a0preparation to meet with\u00a0prospective\u00a0employers.<\/p>\n The signature\u00a0Seminole Futures Job & Internship Fair\u00a0is\u00a0from\u00a09 a.m. to 4 p.m.\u00a0Thursday, Feb. 12 at the\u00a0FSU\u00a0Student Union.\u00a0More than\u00a070\u00a0employers\u00a0across industries\u00a0will be present to discuss early career prospects.\u00a0Among them are\u00a0Insight Global, Enterprise Mobility, NewDay USA and\u00a0ReliaQuest.<\/p>\n \u201cWe are thrilled to\u00a0host\u00a0the\u00a0Seminole Futures\u00a0Fair\u00a0at the Student Union this spring,\u201d\u00a0said Christy\u00a0Mantzanas, employer relations program director at the FSU Career Center.\u00a0\u201cThis centralized location\u00a0cultivates a vibrant, energetic networking environment that\u00a0will benefit our students and employer representatives.\u201d<\/p>\n Justin Mohabir, a finance and accounting student who took part in\u00a0the\u00a0reimagined\u00a0Seminole Futures\u00a0series\u00a0last fall,\u00a0said, \u201cEvery event challenged me to grow a little more outside my comfort zone.
