TALLAHASSEE –\u00a0The Florida State women’s tennis team (2-2) fell to No. 25 UCF (3-1) 4-1 on Friday night at the Scott Speicher Memorial Tennis Center.<\/p>\n
UCF earned a doubles victory to begin the match on Court 3. Eva Shaw<\/a> and Millie Bissett<\/a> responded with a 6-1 victory on Court 1 to tie the doubles session at 1-1. The Knights went on to clinch the doubles point earning a 6-3 victory on Court 2.<\/p>\n Mary Boyce Deatherage<\/a> shined in singles, earning a straight-sets victory defeating Jantje Tilbuerger 6-2, 6-4 on Court 4 to tie the match at 1-1.
