{"id":138837,"date":"2026-01-31T15:28:15","date_gmt":"2026-01-31T15:28:15","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/138837\/"},"modified":"2026-01-31T15:28:15","modified_gmt":"2026-01-31T15:28:15","slug":"forbici-modern-italian-opening-in-late-april","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.newsbeep.com\/us-fl\/138837\/","title":{"rendered":"Forbici Modern Italian Opening in Late April"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Located at 1633 W Snow Ave in Hyde Park, Italian restaurant Forbici Modern Italian is a mainstay for pizza, pasta, and other Italian favorites, along with cocktails: \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.eatforbici.com\/tampa-home\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">a restaurant where you are at home sharing food, enjoying good company and making memories with family and friends, old and new<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Beloved in Tampa, Forbici has been at work on an expansion to St. Petersburg for several years now, with a long-awaited opening still in the works at the Sundial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSt. Pete\u2019s my hometown,\u201d Jeff Gigante, co-founder of Next Level Brands, said in <a href=\"https:\/\/tbbwmag.com\/2025\/09\/25\/forbici-expands-st-pete-sundial\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">coverage<\/a> by Tampa Bay Business &amp; Wealth in September 2025. \u201cSo this is a real homecoming for me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This week, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bizjournals.com\/tampabay\/news\/2026\/01\/28\/forbici-sundial-opening-date.html\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">coverage <\/a>by the Tampa Bay Business Journal finally revealed an opening date: Forbici is set to launch at the Sundial in April.<\/p>\n<p>TBBW says we can expect to find a about 90% of the Tampa menu also available at the Sundial location. In Tampa, Forbici\u2019s selection of dinner specials includes Braised Short Rib Radiatore Pasta (Lemon Cream Sauce, Short Rib, Pecorino, Ricotta, Horseradish Gremolata), 12-inch and 24-inch versions of the Fig &amp; Prosciutto Square Pizza, and the Filetto Di Manzo entr\u00e9e (Filet Medallions, Wild Mushrooms Ragu, Rosemary Fingerlings, Broccolini, Marsala).
